We were approached by GIG UK Ltd to carry out glass replacements to a structurally glazed winter garden roof. Interestingly glass breakages are a common issue on this canopy due to seagulls dropping roof ballast pebbles onto the glass roof from adjacent buildings causing damage to the glazing.
Scope of works:
- Provide competent and experienced lifting and fixing team
- Remove Damaged glazing from winter garden roof and canopy
- Plan and carry out logistics to a busy live office building including transport of glazing and equipment from an underground laydown area, through a public interface into a segregated work position
- Install new glazing and seal units as per system specifications
- Clean and tidy works following completion with Client sign off
