Skyline Central 2 Apartments, Manchester – Cladding Installation and Replacement
FILL UK employed Pops facades to undertake the removal and replacement of a non-compliant rainscreen system that had fire safety issues – 10,000m2
- The original façade was removed back to the substrate wall and a new Rock Panel façade was installed using Nvelope rainscreen support system.
- EDPM membranes were installed around existing windows, Tyvek Firecurb and Siderise open state fire barriers were installed as part of a compliant cladding system.
- Existing failed Reglit glazing was replaced with cladding and new composite windows.
- Access was a mixture of Mast Climbers, Scaffolding & IRATA Technicians.
All of the above was carried out whilst the building was fully occupied.
