We were approached by a long-standing client to remedy a poorly installed rubber roofing system. We incorporated design and value engineering into our tender proposal and won the project.
Scope of works:
- Design new single ply roofing system and eradicate all present structural and water ingress defects
- Remove existing system and timber structure.
- Replace with Grade 2 plywood solution replacing any decayed joists in the process. We co-ordinated the repair works with the Clients
- Structural Engineer.
- Supply and install new IKO Armourplan Single Ply warm roof solution in line with manufacturers specification.
- Carry out all works on a live building to a tight programme
- Clean and tidy works following completion with Client sign off
- Roof leak tested by a 3rd party electronic leak detection company with confirmation report.
- Warranty provided
Pops Facades succeeded and delivered the project on time and within budget and within a shorter time time-period.
Following the success of this roofing project we were awarded a further two projects that are currently on programme and budget respectively.
